A BEAUTIFUL SOLID OAK FLOATING MANTEL SHELF

Its been made by me from solid oak. These beams are unique as no 2 grains will be the same, the items I make are made in Yorkshire in my village workshop using locally sourced materials.

These mantels are not mass produced or imported! These look great in your home.

Being a natural product it has loads of character and charm which will only improve over time. As they are made from beautiful green oak they may over time have some slight movement and splitting which again only adds character and charm and doesn’t take away from the strength and integrity of the Mantel.

SIZE & STYLE.

The bottom edge of the mantels has been curved to give some lovely details. The profile of the mantels/shelves are 96mm x 96mm(almost 4inch x 4 inch) and in the length specified in the options above.

Each mantel beam is made to order so you get an item made specially for you. You can choose what finish you require from oils to varnish, beeswax or even freshly sanded(for you to add your own finish). The beam in the pictures is finished with danish oil which brings out the beautiful natural colours, your beam will come with this finish unless asked otherwise.

My mantels will outlive any modern mass produced or imported furniture as they are made from solid Oak with time and care!

Can I have a different size mantel/shelf to the ones listed?

Yes, We make everything ourselves and we are more than happy to make to your requirements/sizes. if you want a quote just drop us a message or if you prefer give us a call.

What if I want a different ﬁnish?

The same as the above answer really… we can cater for all types of ﬁnishes and if it isn’t listed it doesn’t mean we cant do it! we are happy to help you get the ﬁnish you want.

What methods can I use to pay online?

We accept card payments from all major debit/credit cards providers as well as PayPal.

Can I order from you directly?

Please contact us directly if you would like to discuss any work or to pay a deposit on commission work. We accept payments via BACS, all major debit/credit cards, cheque or cash and PayPal. All Bespoke and commercial orders require A minimum 50% deposit is required upon ordering, with the balance payable prior to delivery conﬁrmation.

What are your Lead Times on furniture?

It depends on the product. Our Products are handmade to order and therefore during busy periods, lead times can be slightly longer than the usual 6-8 weeks for larger items from order to delivery. For bespoke orders please allow up to 10 weeks from order to delivery.

Can you provide and install my furniture?

We can provide an installations service if the item requires it for a fee(depending on location and size). However, our furniture is usually ready assembled when sent via courier.

Can I collect?

You are very welcome to collect your furniture from our Showroom and Workshop.

Delivery

All our mantels and shelves are made to order by us, we put time into ensuring the finish is to the high standard you would expect. due to the fact each item is made to order we have a lead time of between 7-10 days. we will however strive to get them with you sooner where ever possible.

We use reputable couriers for the delivery of your order and have managed to build a good working relationship with them to ensure your order is delivered safely.

Returns

We offer a 30 day returns policy on our shelves, If for any reason you are unhappy with your shelf you can return it for a full refund. Buyer to pay return postage costs.
This policy does not apply to bespoke/customised orders.
